UFO Expert Found Dead — Had Just Posted Missing Scientist Video

David Wilcock, a prominent UFO researcher with over 500,000 YouTube subscribers, died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 20, just two days after posting a video warning about scientists going missing. The 53-year-old had previously stated he was “not suicidal at all” and planned on “LIVING.”

Deputies Respond to Crisis Call

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office confirmed deputies responded to a mental health crisis call at approximately 10:44 a.m. on April 20 in the 1400 block of Ridge Road, where Wilcock resided. When deputies arrived at 11:02 a.m., they encountered a male subject outside a residence holding a weapon. The man then used the weapon on himself and was pronounced dead at the scene. While authorities did not immediately name Wilcock, citing the need to notify next of kin, Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna confirmed his death on social media, writing that millions of lives were impacted by his work.

Chilling Final Messages

Two days before his death, Wilcock went live on YouTube making remarks about a pattern of deaths in his community. The day before that livestream, he posted on social media saying he had “some very intense stuff going on this weekend” and expressed love and appreciation for his followers. The timing raised concerns among his supporters, especially given a resurfaced 2022 post where he wrote, “I plan on LIVING. Not suicidal at all. Just concerned about what happens when you prove God is real.”

Part of Disturbing Pattern

Wilcock’s death occurred amid an FBI investigation into the mysterious deaths and disappearances of at least 11 high-level scientists with access to classified information in nuclear, aerospace, propulsion, missile technology, and programs related to unidentified anomalous phenomena. President Trump publicly stated the White House is examining these cases, describing the incidents as highly suspicious. Several victims were found dead under circumstances initially ruled as suicide, while others vanished without their phones, wallets, or keys. Wilcock had authored multiple New York Times bestsellers, appeared regularly on the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, and served as Director of Advanced Technology for Stavatti Aerospace.

What This Means

No foul play has been alleged by authorities in Wilcock’s case, and the investigation remains with the coroner. FBI Director Kash Patel has launched a major investigation into whether foreign actors or larger conspiracies are behind the pattern of scientist deaths. Wilcock had been vocal about government disclosure on unidentified anomalous phenomena and advanced technologies, making his death particularly noteworthy given the ongoing federal probe into similar cases involving researchers with access to classified programs.
