Battleground State STUNNED: Socialist’s Disturbing Endorsement…

A self-described democratic socialist running for Wisconsin governor has embraced an endorsement from a radical organization demanding police abolition and Palestinian liberation, exposing the extreme leftward lurch of Democrats in a crucial battleground state.

Socialist Group’s Radical Platform Backs Hong Campaign

The Wisconsin Electoral Socialists announced their endorsement of State Rep. Francesca Hong for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination, hailing her as “clearly the best candidate” with “nationally important” potential. The organization operates through consensus-driven decision-making and explicitly prioritizes candidates supporting police and prison abolition, Palestinian solidarity, and anti-capitalist economic restructuring. WES committed to providing both public and material support for Hong’s campaign ahead of the August 2026 primary. The group simultaneously endorsed Rep. Ryan Clancy for Assembly District 19 re-election, signaling coordinated left-wing intervention in Wisconsin state politics.

Hong’s Democratic Socialist Record and Policy Agenda

Hong represents District 76 in the Madison area and joined the Wisconsin Legislative Socialist Caucus during her second term. Her legislative priorities include universal K-12 school meals, blocking public school privatization efforts, and expanding government control over utilities and childcare. The candidate promotes herself as a former restaurant worker and single mother who rose through community organizing. Her campaign platform demands utility cost caps, mandatory paid leave, universal childcare funded by taxpayers, and strengthened union rights. This agenda aligns with the anti-capitalist principles WES cited as reasons for their endorsement, raising serious concerns about government overreach and fiscal responsibility.

Grassroots Strategy Mirrors National Socialist Movements

Hong’s campaign draws inspiration from Zohran Mamdani’s New York socialist victory, with supporters dubbing her “Wisconsin’s Mamdani.” A November 2025 Marquette Law School poll showed Hong with 22 percent name recognition among Democrats, ranking second highest in the field, and leading among decided voters. She emphasizes small-donor fundraising and movement politics over traditional Democratic establishment backing. The candidate frames her bid as “transformational change” powered by grassroots activism rather than party infrastructure. This strategy mirrors Democratic Socialists of America tactics spreading across the Midwest, threatening to pull Democrats further left in competitive states crucial to national elections.

Implications for Wisconsin’s Political Landscape

Hong’s embrace of WES’s endorsement signals a troubling normalization of socialist ideology in Wisconsin statewide races. The crowded Democratic primary field faces a choice between Hong’s radical platform and more moderate alternatives, potentially fracturing the party before the general election. Her policies promoting government expansion into utilities, childcare, and labor markets contradict the limited-government principles that built American prosperity. The endorsement’s emphasis on abolitionism and international causes like Palestinian liberation reveals how far left-wing candidates prioritize ideology over practical governance. Wisconsin voters concerned about fiscal sanity, public safety, and traditional values now confront a Democratic frontrunner openly aligned with anti-capitalist movements seeking to fundamentally transform state government.

The August 11, 2026 primary will test whether Wisconsin Democrats embrace Hong’s socialist vision or reject the radical transformation she represents. Her campaign’s momentum among progressive voters in Madison and Milwaukee demonstrates the growing influence of far-left organizations like WES in shaping Democratic politics, even as their policies clash with the economic freedom and constitutional principles that protect individual liberty and family prosperity.

  1. Democratic Party elected officials are condoning defiance of the US Constitution, Federal law, riots, and other violence, in an attempt to preserve open borders, turning the US into a socialist welfare state, with the support of the liberal media, which will rule along with them. They frequently claim that conservatives want to end democracy and enslave the people. While they condemn assassinations and assassination attempts, their message of hate continues to inspire these crimes and other violence.

1859 all over again, and the same confederate grey Democrat Party, doing the violence! I wonder how much support the US Democrat revolutionaries are receiving from Soros, Russia, Iran, Hamas supporters, China, and the cartels?

    • In total agreement. They are building alliances with all the Anti-American forces and will use them to destroy what those before us have fought and died for.

  2. Demoncrats are forming alliances with socialist, communists, and Muslims. Their plan is to use these numbers to defeat the Republicans. Once they have done so, they will reck havoc on what remains of our Constitutional rights.
